Link Building In 3 Easy Ways

For a lot of web master and for first-timers, link building can be a pretty daunting task. After all, in order for you get a high page rank, you need to sift through hundreds of bookmarking sites and advertise your website through them by the use of inbound link connecting to you.

It may be irritating for some, but the rewards are overwhelming. After all, search engines like Google, Yahoo!, and Bing give a lot of brownie point for websites that have good quality links connected to them. This would mean a higher page rank for them, and higher visitor traffic.

Of course, there is a need to do these things properly. And there are three ways to do so. It's not really hard, and would certainly guarantee good results.

First of all, make use of anchor texts. Use your keyword as anchor text for your inbound links as much as possible. This is the key to ranking well for your specific keyword phrase. If you are not familiar on how to use HTML or BBC code (depending on where you are dropping your link), simply do a Google search to learn the very basic HTML code for creating an anchor text link.

Second, take time to do bookmarking. Adding every page to social bookmarking sites is a very good way to build high PR back links and bring traffic to your website. Sites such as Digg, Google Bookmarks, StumbleUpon and Delicious can be a big help in increasing visitor traffic and improving your search rankings.

And lastly, be consistent in your work. This is the last task that many website owners fail to do. Setting aside a certain amount of time each day, or hiring someone if you don't have the time, to build your links is critical. The search engines look for steady, natural growth. It won't be good if you make, for example, a hundred links in one day only to stop doing anything for a month. Search engines observe that and note that it is a natural trend.

If you follow these simple steps in link building, then you will certainly get some real results. It won't come as a surprise if you see more and more links connecting to you every day. And it's not hard to imagine the possibility that you will get your site to number one in the near future.
